that weekend we did an upgrade of our BO system. (Old Version: BO 4.0 SP 02 Patch 18, New Version BO 4.0 SP06 Patch 02).
Since the upgrade we are no longer able to work with the translation management tool. We are receiving when we try to open it the following failure message.
An error has occured. See log file.

Has anybody an idea what happens with the translation management tool??

Im currently exploring Dep.optimiser and did some test runs for a consumer products org. Tests were run for 1 particular
sku using snp94 planning book. Since the client uses a hybrid macro it is not possible to use a normal planning book for
test run.
I checked Dep.optimiser logs /SAPAPO/SNPOPLOG and under 'Results Log - IT_NOTDELI' nothing was populated in Unfulfilled
demand which is a good thing. But when you go into 'Input Log- ET_LOCMAT' i.e. Location products, there was nothing in
Initial stocks column except a weird number in 1 particular location.Dep.optimiser was run for Sku A at 6 locations.I could
see the stocks only at 1 particular location which also doesnt get the info. from that particular location accurately.
Initial stock is nothing but Intial Warehouse stock. When i checked the 'Day's Supply, 'ATD Receipts' and 'ATD Issues'
from the planning book the number doesnt tally. My understanding is Initial stock should be combination of the above 3 KF's.
I could be completely wrong-please comment.
Could someone explain why im not able to see the correct initial stocks when the dep.optimiser is run?

The goal of computer telephony integration (CTI) in SAP R/3 is to make the telephone an integral part of business processes - whether part of an SAP R/3 application, an SAP R/3 workflow, or scenarios based on the SAP Customer Interaction Center (CIC) in a call center environment. In all these scenarios, CTI components, such as a gateway to a call center system, communicate with SAP R/3 components through SAPphone, an SAP R/3 Basis Services component.
SAPphone supports the following functions:
Processing of incoming call information, such as displaying and branching to the CIC or application
Support for call center functions such as agent logon
Support for campaigns through predictive dialing
SAPphone is not intended for the following functions:
Processing and storing of voice data, as in voice mail
Processing of incoming calls made to a service number and assigning them to a specific processor, as in automatic call distribution (ACD)
Providing SAP R/3 data for incoming calls processed by an IVR system, without subsequently transferring the call to a human agent
To connect a CTI product to SAPphone, third-party vendors can use Microsoft TAPI or BC-CTI. Any CTI product compatible with Microsoft TAPI version 2.0 or 2.1 can communicate with SAP R/3. This connection supports basic telephony functions such as initiating or transferring calls as well as call center integration functions such as agent logon. TAPI does not support predictive dialing. For an SAP R/3 telephony gateway, you must install the SAPphone Server, which implements RFC connections to SAPphone and the TAPI client interface.

Dear All,
We faced one issue related to Budget and replicated the similar scenario and found the below results.
Here user has created a PR wrt WBS and created PO, GR and IV.
Then cancelled the IV and GR. again has changed the acc *** cateogiry as Blank. Then created GR and IV for partial qty.
As soon as we do the acc *** cat as blank... commitment will became zero and system will allow us to create new commitments.
Now when he tries to reduce the qty in PO same as GR qty(Short closing of PO), system is throwing error as Budget exceeded.
Its bit strange for me.. or system is getting confused because there is no acc *** in PO but the reference has been taken of PR which has acc *** of WBS.
Is the system behaviour correct ? Any changes required ?

I am trying to add IT0048 to personal profile screen. for this I added IT0048 to HRPAD and created details component in FPM_FORM_UIBB. Now when I try to create a configuration for FPM_LIST_UIBB I get 'Type not found' exception on screen. I am adding paramters to CL_HRESS_PER_OVERVIEW feeder class 'HRPAD' and IT0048. when I click ok I get the exception

I have run both the Customer Ageing Report(Local) and the Trial Balance at the same time but I have seen a difference in the Trial Balance in the Accounts Receivable (Local).
Can any one please suggest the possible reasons for the difference in the Ageing and the Trial Balance?

i have sap system which is already connected to PI 7.1 (old PI system). I want to make proxy connection of One sap system (ABC) to both PI 7.1 & PI 7.3 single stack system.

In CMC/AUditing seeing the following warning messages.
Warning: Client auditing is unavailable.
One below then lists alot of servers which deliberatley stopped and disabled.
WARNING: Auditing data may remain in server buffers
Any idea what cuasing these, in partiuclar first one?

I don't want to deal with a VM or virtual appliance, I want to download and install from scratch on a linux machine.
So how can I get a netweaver trial version for linux.
Does anyone have direct links to the files that work?
I've tried to directly FTP to ftp.sap.com and it won't accept my username and password.
